In 2006, Rio Verde Country Club members voted to renovate both golf courses. Following a redesign by The Tom Lehman Design Group reconstruction of Quail Run began in April 2007 and was completed later the same year. Quail Run has matured beautifully. The greens are especially challenging with new undulation and roll.
The final phase of the renovation, White Wing, is complete and open for play. The renovation committee conducted weekly tours which kept the membership informed and built the excitement for the completed project.
For details of the renovation go to the Country Club website at www.rioverdecc.com
The Country Club website also details the dining facilities; The Copper Room and the Pub. Our personal recommendation is the chicken pot pie on Wednesday or the prime rib and crab cakes on Saturday night! The Pub is a wonderful gathering place for happy hour. You can enjoy old friends and meet your new neighbors throughout the season.
All residents are social members of the Country Club with access to the dining operations and numerous social events. For unlimited access to unlimited access to the championship golf courses, golf associations with numerous organized weekly events the initiation fee is $32,500. Annual fees are $7,200.
Many residents drive personal golf carts which are garaged at their homes; making the golf experience even more pleasant. The Country Club also rents golf carts on a daily basis.
